The Michael Guinee Charitable Foundation is keen to support sustainable projects that positively impact the lives of people and their communities.

To establish clear criteria for qualification of support, each applicant must:

  • Be an active registered Irish Charity or not-for-profit organisation / CLG

  • Have a viable and sustainable project which is for public benefit

  • Align with the foundation’s aims and objectives

  • Operate to strict financial governance policies and procedures

For clarity and transparency, clear guidelines will be provided to ascertain if your project is eligible for funding in advance of making an application.

Applications will be accepted on our website www.michaelguineefoundation.com

There will be a three stage on-line application process:

  • 1

    Register your organisation

  • 2

    Pass the eligibility review

  • 3
Submit Application Form (Additional information may be asked for, subsequently)

This application will then be reviewed by staff and should it meet the criteria of the foundation, will be forwarded to the Board of Trustees for final review. Their decision on funding is final.

Successful applicants will be notified by email and issued with a Letter of Commitment or a Grant Agreement to be signed by both parties. Unsigned Grant Agreements will be rejected.

Successful Applicants must provide regular progress updates and impact reports on the project once it is completed.

Unsuccessful Applicants will be notified by email. The Foundation is unable to provide feedback on applications due to the number they receive and their limited resources.
